In recent years, the health-care system has undergone significant transformations. During this transformation, a few key figures have reformed healthcare settings. The main players, what I believe, are the government, health-care institutions, and providers. The government sets the foundation for the policies and legislation that constitute the care and services generated by healthcare facility. Based on these policies and legislation, Providers offer variety of services and care for the patient in order to create an environment favorable to a better standard of living. To remain in control, the government may negotiate policies and practices that are counterproductive to the services offered. Because of federal restrictions and slow progress, the services offered will transform and may have an adverse influence when compared to the rate at which health care is changing. This action will have a direct impact on one’s quality of life.
The term “quality of life” refers to being stable in all aspects of one’s life, both physical and mental, while take into consideration socioeconomic factors. Patients’ health and life expectancy have immensely improved as a result of the reformation and advancement of healthcare delivery. In order to provide quality services, medical services are focused on the health conditions of the patients.
